The view from this cabin is absolutely beautiful. Very nice sized for a big group!
We have a large family that is spread out around the US. We wanted a place to spend Christmas together that was easy to get to and close to Terry Peak. This place was PERFECT! It is a beautiful house with plenty of kitchen and entertaining space both inside and out. The host was phenomenal. They even dropped off a Christmas tree for us! 10/10!!
Our stay was amazing! The home was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. It was incredibly spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought 18 girls for a team-bonding trip, and everyone was very comfortable and the multiple seating areas made it perfect for hanging out. The number of bathrooms was a huge plus, especially when we were all getting ready to go downtown. Everything was very clean, and the views were gorgeous. Our team loved the house and would definitely come back!

Life is a Hoot had everything & more than was needed!! The decks & patio furniture were so comfortable & the views are amazing! We messaged to see if we could get in early & the host met us & showed us a few things! The location was perfect, 10 minutes to Deadwood. The hot tub was great! Definitely recommend & we will be returning in February!!

What a phenomenal property! We could not have asked for a better place for our family vacation—it was a destination unto itself!
We had a group of 12 travelers for an ATV trip. The home was very spacious and worked great for our group. Everything was stocked to our desire and the home was absolutely gorgeous and at a great value. The parking was ample for 4 pickups and trailers will room left over. The kitchen and connected deck were great for morning coffee and all of our meals. Will certainly stay again!
We had a wonderful time staying at the house. We were here with extended family for a reunion. We had a lot of space in the house which was very nice. The rooms were all very clean. We especially enjoyed the large deck with the fire tables. We were able to take advantage of the tv on the deck to watch some football. The views from the deck were incredible. Tracy was great to deal with and she was very responsive to any questions that we had. This VRBO house was nicest place we have stayed at. I cannot say enough good things about the house as we all enjoyed our week here very much!!Thank you,Tom

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Trailhound Cabin Co will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Trailhound Cabin Co will match it.
